Profile

One of the latest affiliates of H.T.M.S. Serving Central Europe which comprises Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, with a main office in Prague and soon to be opened branch in Budapest. Current client is the Malta Tourism Authority, as well as ad hoc activities such as workshops or trade fair participation for Tourism Ireland, Barbados, St. Kitts Nevis Islands, Galaxy GDS, and others.

Market in brief

Poland: the largest of the recent new EU member states, with a population of almost 40 Million , the country has seen significant economic growth in 2004, despite a relatively high unemployment.

Czech Rep. & Slovakia: 15 million population in this area which has attracted a record volume of direct foreign investment, resulting in development of a highly-skilled middle class with sophisticated taste in travel. Prague is recognised as one of the top 10 popular weekend destinations in Europe.

Hungary: 10 million population with a very stable economy, controlled inflation and decreasing unemployment. The Hungarians are extensive travellers.

Ernest Flamini

Has been in the travel industry for over 30 years, with a predominant airline background, serving in Malta, israel and Poland, before settling in Prague in 1992, where he established his own company offering representation to a wide range of travel organisations, such as British Tourist Authority, Malta Tourism Authority, Utell International, TOP Hotels International, Occidental Hotels & Resorts. He also acts as GSA in the Czech Rep & Slovakia for 8 airlines.
